Welcome to the WikiEdit

Welcome to the Cases and Materials Wiki. We’re a collaborative community website about the common law.

What is Cases & Materials Wiki?Edit

This is not your traditional casebook. We preface each page with by statements of principle to guide the student and practitioner, and following extracts by notes and questions that both test the reader’s understanding and develop aspects of extracted material. Every effort has been made to make the work as accessible to the student and practitioner as possible – in the main by ensuring that most extracts are not unduly lengthy – while at the same time focusing, chiefly via questions and commentary, on the learning outcomes essential to the study of the common law.

Whether you are a student or learned jurist, you are welcome to contribute.
